This area contains information on how to troubleshoot the products that we offer.  Whether it's an installation problem, or a problem running the software under your particular hardware configuration, here's the place to hopefully find the answers you are looking for. 

Be sure to check out the FAQs available for each product, and look through the product documentation to find answers to many common questions.  If you still cannot find what you are looking for, you are welcome to send and email to support@baysidestudios.com and describe your problem.

General Product Support
There are a few things to check for when trying to run an application on your system.  Please follow this checklist to help you troubleshoot the problem:
  • Check the system requirements of the software.  The Games Section contains links to the system requirements of each of the products offered.  
  • View the product documentation and Read-Me files that are included with the product.  Most of these documents are available online as well.
  • Installation Problems can be tricky to resolve, especially on handheld devices.  Make sure that the host PC is communicating properly with the device before product installation is attempted. 
  • View the Error Logs.  When the application is executed, an error log file is created which is extremely useful in diagnosing problems with the software.  These log files can be quite detailed, so we have created a section for their discussion.
  • Look at the Known Issues lists.  Unfortunately there may be a known issue with the product that will save you time and effort in trying to resolve it yourself.  These issue lists are located in the support areas for each product, and are generally included in the distribution of the package.
  • Check for software patches for your favorite application.  We may have already fixed the issue and a simple patch is all that is required to fix your problem.  Patches are also available in the support area for each product.
