The Quigley's Quest Retail 1.10 package contains a
full-featured demo of the game. It contains a 30-day evaluation
version of
the software, but the game will continue to run after the 30-day
trial with a note that the trial version is up and the game should
be purchased or removed. The demo contains the first four full
levels of the game. Also included in the installation is a
registration application which will allow you to register the software
after purchasing a valid license code. *NOTE* -
The MIPS version of the game is not an "official"
product. Beta testing of the MIPS version of the product was
favorable, and we are providing the product to the MIPS user
community as a "favor" to those who may use these
devices. Bayside Studios, Inc. does not officially
support MIPS versions of the game, nor do we have the hardware
required to even test and run the releases. We have no idea if
the MIPS version functions as intended. Support for the
MIPS versions of the game are entirely user-community driven, and we
relied upon the beta testers to let us know if there were any issues
with the game running on their machines prior to releasing the game
to the public. As it were, since the game is fairly graphics
intensive, many of the MIPS users used over-clocking to provide
decent frame-rates for the game, a procedure that is neither
supported nor recommended for this or any other device. What
you do to your own PocketPC is your prerogative. USE
THE MIPS RELEASE AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE STRONGLY ADVISE
THAT YOU CHECK THE FORUMS
TO SEE THE CURRENT STATE OF MIPS DEVICE COMPATIBILITY, AND ASK
QUESTIONS TO OTHER USERS TO SEE IF THEY HAD ANY DIFFICULTIES RUNNING
THE MIPS VERSION ON YOUR PARTICULAR DEVICE. As it stands,
since it is not an official release of the product, we cannot offer
support or refunds on the product if you purchase it for the MIPS
devices, and reserve the right at any time to remove these versions
permanently.
None at this time. The product installation contains the
latest full release.
